The Viridis Genii Symposium will be held at the Center for Sustainable Forestry, at Pack Forest located in Eatonville, Washington, 1 hour, 15 minutes from Sea-tac Airport and 2 hours, 20 minutes from Portland (PDX) airport.
The Pack Forest Conference Center lies at the foot of Mount Rainier, nestled among stately Douglas-fir in a 4,300 acre forest. Rich in history, Pack Forest offers top quality meeting rooms and comfortable overnight accommodations. This lush setting provides a nurturing environment that inspires a deepening of experience as a community.
How do I get there?
The retreat center is approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes from SEA-TAC airport. UBER/LYFT/TAXI will cost about $100 each way and there is no bus service that will get you to the event location. If you don’t plan to sign up for the shuttle service through VGS, please make sure you have made other arrangements for transport. We are now making arrangements for a shuttle service to and from SEA-TAC airport. Pick up point will be around 1pm on Friday with a departure the following Monday from the retreat center (after brunch) around 11am. If you are interested in taking advantage of this service, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add you to the list and update you as more information is available. The ride share should cost around $65 RT per person. Each van holds 10 people.
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets will now include 3 nights lodging, 7 meals and unlimited beverage service.
All lodging is shared cabins or dorms (up to 6-8 people in each) and tickets are sold per person/per bed.
If you wish to bunk with a friend please make note of who in your registration and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
